Oh wow...nice dry creek bed...now wet creek bed...for a rare change! Were you excited? Like new fallen snow excitement??? It sure looks moisturizing running through there!
This must be very special for you Aiyana so I'm happy for you. Over here we are not so keen on rain as it rains most of the time. Wish I was able to sent you and other gardeners some rain when you need it!
Our average rainfall is eight inches. We've had drought conditions for the last 11 years, so the average, based on about 90 years, is high for what we've been getting the last few years. Since January 1, we've received 2.70 inches--more than a third of our yearly average! Hope this is the start of a wet year.
At least it is rain and not snow. Here in Alberta we have wind chill temps at -40 degrees. I will trade you places, okay....lol.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you may have to change the name of your blog to Water When Wet.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you when I was listening to CNN last night and they were predicting rain in Phoenix - and, I gathered, lots of it.
ReplyDeleteBlog very pretty. Congratulations
