Desert Garden Shadows

I love taking photos in the late afternoon. Today I was strolling through the garden, looking for something blooming to post, but other than a few Desert Marigolds, there was nothing going on. However, I did notice a few nice shadows here and there.

Mesquite Tree shadow. A heart-shaped sun catcher hangs in the branches.

    Not much blooming here either! I love the red shadow the heart sun-catcher made. Beautiful!

    great pics... I think I like the bell the best. We might actually get some sun here today! I've got a whole lot of winter gardening to do, and every weekend up to now has been to cold to get it done...

    I'd argue against your having 'nothing going on'. I saw green in one of the photos and you didn't have to go far to find it:)

    Today is a perfect day for shadows. The temps here are bitter but it at least brought blue skies and the shadows contrast nicely on the snow.

    There is not a lot blooming here either, but for different reasons. Love that little lizzard on the wall, very colourful.
