The plants which came in the 18./19. Century from Australia and America had a place here to find a similar clima before a part of it came to Europe. I will tell more over it in one of my next posts.<BR/>Have a great time WurzerlWurzerlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05502884449024330990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269929186047281311.post-91934286102284099452008-10-08T05:40:00.000-07:002008-10-08T05:40:00.000-07:00thanks for the comment on trimming the Lantana, ju...thanks for the comment on trimming the Lantana, just never thought to do that. I also have the same problem with houseplants but have to have a few here and there. The worst is when I bring my citrus inside. I got so tired of them last year that I put them out prematurely and paid the price. We had a frost when one was in full flower and that was it for the lemons this year.Lancashire rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00348711150803587369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269929186047281311.post-67122175085308326822008-10-07T12:09:00.000-07:002008-10-07T12:09:00.000-07:00The Zamia plant is so unusual. My house plants-except for the violets all go outside in the spring and I bring them back in just before frost. I enjoy them in the winter, but don't want them in during the summer. And they seem to love their time outdoors and show it by growing by leaps and bounds.beckiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06400859161321357279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269929186047281311.post-39482893456910973752008-10-07T10:21:00.000-07:002008-10-07T10:21:00.000-07:00Personally, I also avoid putting my plants indoors...Personally, I also avoid putting my plants indoors(unless they cannot survive the outdoor weather). I feel putting plants indoor is like caging a free flying bird, which robs the plant of its vitality. Plants look best outdoors in their natural habitat, in the company of their brethren. And, for indoor decoration, I move them very temporarily when expecting guests.Green thumbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02985557905470748245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-269929186047281311.post-84750979293180030202008-10-07T08:13:00.000-07:002008-10-07T08:13:00.000-07:00Isn't it fun when houseplants become outdoor plant...Isn't it fun when houseplants become outdoor plants!
