Hi Aiyana,
great to see a rose this time of year.I enjoyed looking through the diffrent styles of houses in the older part of Arizona. Are these types of places finding it harder to keep them the way they do with the changing climate.Do they ever have to have water restrictions placed upon them or have the plants adapted over time.

Cheers Mark

I almost tried to take a bite out of my monitor to sample that luscious rose. Looks like Arizona is still enjoying enough warmth to pop a few more blooms. Same here in Santa Barbara. Have a joyous, chlorophyl-filled new year.

nikkipolani,
My daughter planted this a decade ago, and doesn't remember its name, unfortunately.
Mark,
Currently, there are no water restrictions, just a lot of reminders to save on water in various ways. Water costs are fairly high, so if folks want to pay for green lawns, they can keep them for now. The other plants get enough water from the lawn watering apparently.

Such a lovely rose! Looks like someone takes very good care of their plants! I used to have a whole bed of roses and they got black spot so bad I dug them all up but 1! That one came from my grandfather. Maybe this spring I'll get some more and try it again!
