When we lived in Arizona, all our yard had [cactus-wise] were a few barrel cactus and some cholla. But we also had two HUGE saguaro. Those I loved to see bloom.

Your cactus blossoms are very pretty.

My Green Thumb is posted. Scroll down on today's entry. Hope you can find time to drop in for a visit.

Lovely flowers- the green at the end makes them look like little carrots inside the flower!
I hope you saw rain last night after you posted- we had a wonderful rain here that started around 10 pm- It was a pretty mild one for once- more like a winter rain than a monsoon- I hope it reached you!

What lovely shade of pink. They look like flowers from a fancy birthday cake. I want to wish you rain but certainly not a monsoon! We've had plenty of rain this summer. My top rain barrel is still full which is unusual.

Ouch. I forgot it was GTS. I better get cracking.

Hope you get a good rain. Send the micro-bursts here. I need something to knock down the out of control weeds.

I think those are very beautiful. I don't have any cactus, but I do love them. I am afraid one of my cats would get hurt on them.

I think one of the things I like about cactus is that they occasionally just surprise you... blooming when they're not supposed to, or suddenly putting up offsets when the books say they don't. Something about a plant that just does whatever it wants despite everybody...

nice pic!

I am so glad this plant delivered for you, just in time. I would cry now if you missed a week of GTS! Speaking of weather, I heard there had been a hurricane swirling toward Florida, but has turned north now. I am out of the loop on vacation...guess I'd have to turn toward home FAST if one actually looks like it will hit! LOL...
Hope you get some rain soon, gosh darn it!

Thank you Ayana for your nice comment. I was so astonished to read about your average rain per year you get. This is what we have sometimes when it rains on one day. So I'd like to send you from time to time a few inches from our rainfall ;-) !! I have to catch up now a lot of your posts which I missed during my break.
