Anticipation

Mammillaria decipiens ssp. camptotricha

Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream.

Very wise words and so true!
BTW our Spring does begin in April too. We just have sometimes days that look like Spring!
Have a nice day!

Hallo Aiyana,
I am - which concerns the language - exactly the same as you: my english is very bad too. ;-)
Therefore I can't comment very good in your language, but I see, that you love Kakteen (I don't know the english word for that. *smile*
Nice foto in this post.

Your climate is just about as different from mine as possible, but I LOVE visiting and learning more about life in Arizona. I hope to make it to the desert one day to see the wildflowers bloom.

Hi Julie,
My husband is finally home as of yesterday. He did have another setback after the GI bleed. He had a minor heart attack, probably caused by the 11 units of blood he received, but no permanent damage occured. All is going well for now--he's still very weak, but so glad to be home. Thanks for your greeting--he will appreciate it!

Good news about your husband.

I love this photo, what a neat plant! And the thought in that quote is so true and meaningful!

I have "dream bulbs" in planters on my south window right now that are popping to life. Even some herb seeds are sprouting already...and it's 15° outdoors here.

Your quotation is a wonderful one - so true how anticipation nurtures our dream.

I am glad to hear that your husband is back home. He'll probably recuperate much faster too!
